Thashil Tuckooriah

Twenty-seven year old Thashil Tuckooriah is the first South African Sony Television Boogie Woogie Winner, who represented South Africa at the international final in London 2005. He has performed at the South African Indian Film and Television Awards 2013 with Bollywood Artists Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Ranveer Singh, and many more, under the mentorship of renowned Bollywood choreographer Geeta Kapur. He has been a part of many local stage productions, international shows and performed in a film over the past twenty-one years. This includes performing in a leading role in the stage production Bombay Chasers, and as a dancer in the movie Keeping up with the Kandasamys, The Wedding 2019. Thashil has been a dance Instructor at Entertainment Spectacular for the past nine years, where he strives to share his knowledge of dance to his students.
